This is the material found on the bases of belt sanders to prolong the belt life and stop the wearing away of the base plate. As well as being able to make your own wear strips to whatever size you need for your belt sander, it can be used to make or replace wear strips on other applications. The graphite has a cloth backing, and is approximately 3mm thick.
